Grade 4 Spring 2008 STAR Assessment Schedule     Newhall Only                             Day I Schedule - Thursday, April 24         9:30 - 10:00 Students arrive - complete demographic information and give directions  10:00 - 11:15 CST - Language Arts - Part I   untimed   11:15 - 11:25 Break           11:30 - 12:45 CST - Language Arts - Part II   untimed   12:45 - 1:15 Lunch           1:20 - 2:25 CST - Math - Part I     untimed   2:25 - 2:35 Break           2:40 - 3:45 CST - Math - Part II     untimed                           end of testing requirements                             Note to Parents:             All tests for fourth grade are untimed.  We have followed the recommended time frames  for completion of each test; however, from past experience we find many students use significantly  less time than allotted in many cases, but may certainly use all or more time if needed.               Please plan to arrive back at the testing site 30-60 minutes before the last test of the day is scheduled to end, just in case your child finishes early.                     Students opting to test on more than one day leave at the lunch break, and return    on Day II to complete their testing requirements.        Parents choosing this option need to inform the school in advance.
