Education Specialist The Education Specialist (ES) is a fully credentialed teacher who works with the enrolled students and their families to document learning and attendance, provide educational support, and to help the family meet school and state requirements.
To be considered for an ES position, you must reside in or near the area specified. This position requires driving to meet face-to-face with students, typically in their home. Meetings occur at least once every 20 school attendance days. Additional time is spent completing paperwork and documentation requirements, researching information for families, and engaging in school committee work and staff meetings. We are looking for educators who can work with students in many flexible ways. Solid technological skills are a must, and the ES must own a PC-compatible computer. Education Specialists must hold a valid, California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
